View of Self

Sheylene believes herself to be invincible. She considers herself incredibly beautiful and worthy of worship. She tends to over-estimate her strength and control. Shey feels that she deserves whatever she desires, that whatever she wants is automatically claimed. She refuses to believe she's crude, for as far as she is concerned, she is generous beyond measure to her Coven. Sheylene is convinced she is one of the better elders in all of the world.

View of Others

●Humans: She sees humans as pets, toys, and food. She considers their inferior qualities a strong enough reason to kill them all. She feels as if they are pests that need to be eliminated or changed.

●Lycans: She sees them as rabid mutts who need to be put down. That their wolf like structure is appalling and inhumane. She thinks that the venom of their fangs is a weapon, and she plans to kill every Lycan for the venom.

●Vampires: She sees her fellow vampires as servants, willing to follow her every whim and command. She rules over them as she believes that she has superior qualities they do not. Once she has collected Lycan venom, she plans to rule the vampire kind.

History

Sheylene grew up in Novosibirsk, Russia. Her parents were strict, constantly pushing her to be better, to work harder. By the time Shey was twelve years old, her parents whisked her off to etiquette classes, teaching her to be a proper lady. It was drilled in her brain to always look her best, act polite and acceptable, and only to speak when spoken too. so that's what she did. She was the perfect young lady, and that's what created the problem.
Closing in on her eighteenth birthday, her month, Eva, announced her arranged marriage. The thought of being given away to a strange through one of the most sacred and cherished rituals frightened her. As the pressure grew and the day creeped closer, Sheylene's nerves got to her. The night before she was to turn eighteen, she ran away, taking a carriage out of Novosibirsk and out of Russia. For a few months, she traveled, raching England in December of 1438. She spent till her twentieth birthday settling in and making a quiet, secluded life for herself.
It was October 13, 1440, Shey was returning home from her work at the castle, when she felt as if she was being followed. She grew fearful, quickening her pace to reach her small cottage not too far. It was then, that a hooded man appeared, dragging her to a nearby alley way. There, he bit the young Shey, nearly draining her dry. It was her survival, however, that allowed the venom to reach her blood stream, thereby turning her to a Vampire. It was that day, for five hundred and seventy-three years that the resentment grew for not only every human, but for every vampire as well. It was the immortality that allowd the fire to feed. It was that rueful night that created the monster she is now.

He doesn't really want to move up in his ranks, but he hates his alpha. He's only there to do his job and lead his pack members into battle. Though he also views himself as a pawn in the war between Vampires and Lycans. that was the only reason he was created. Aaron is very proud of his training and he uses it to his advantage in a fight. He doesn't see himself as cocky, but he knows he can be a bit selfish at times.

View Of Others

Vampires: Aaron sees vampires as the enemy, but he's always been curious about them. Having never met one, he doesn't feel he can really judge them, and he always feels bad about killing them afterward. But he doesn't mourn in front of his comrades. He's bee taught to kill them in cold blood and he has never faltered.
Lycans: Aaron views Lycans as his family now. He would support them through anything and has a number of relations with female Lycans. He sees them as fellow people and would never downgrade them to trash.
Humans: Though Aaron was once human, he sees the faults in them. He believes that if he were human now, he would be weak in both body and mind and thus views humans as such.

History

Aaron was born and raised in Cheshire, England. He had a loving family and two very annoying younger sisters. He had been the trouble maker of the three, but his parents paid most of their attention to the girls, as they were pampered and spoiled. As soon as Aaron turned eighteen and had earned enough money to move out, he did. Taking up a job as a jumper at a club at nineteen, he was well known to the trouble makers in the club. He worked at the club until the age of twenty-four, when he got into a tussle with a couple of guys and one of them bit him. He'd lost a lot of blood and when he woke up, he was in some sort of underground fortress, where he was taught about what he was and how to fight.
At first he was too angry to do much of anything but yell and take shots at the Alpha, but he was taught to channel his anger into his fighting and he soon became very good at fighting, thus being named the leader of the warriors. Though he had a very leader like attitude, the alpha chose to keep him in the lower ranks to control him. He didn't want to be overrun, and he was getting old in the mind, as he never aged.
Aaron was loyal to his place in the pack and all of his pack members knew that they could trust him for anything and count on him in a fight. He loved his fellow Lycans and he would never do anything to betray them, or so he thinks...

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:41 pm

It was dark. The sky in London was bare and dim. There was not a speck of light from the moon or stars. The sky was in despair. Sheylene, sitting primly in her throne, looked across the bare hall will pleasure. It was eerie the silence that filled the air of the Coven. A band of Vampires were investigating a random killing. Usually they wouldn't bother themselves with it, but Shey had a hunch it was the Lycans at work.

Standing up, her stature straight. She picked up the edge of her dress, walking with swiftness from the hall. She reached the entrance of the Coven, hidden behind a waterfall. Making her way in front of it to view the open sky, Shey used her special talent. She twisted her body to form a bat, flying off to the site of the last killing. Viewing it from up high, she saw her Coven, battling out against a pack of Lycans. I knew it, she thought harshly to herself. Reaching land level, she twisted back into her vampire form, looking around with hatred.

Fangs bared, claws extended. Sheylene took to action at her own pace. Instead of using her speed to wipe out the Lycans, she took more pleasure in the kill. She walked gracefull through the center of the battle. As she passed a Lycan fighting a vampire, she'd whip her claws upward through their chest, ripping out their heart. She peered around to see quite of few of her coven members, writhing in pain as the bites of werewolves poisoned their system.

"Filthy beasts," she muttered, a couple of Lycans tried to gang up on her. She smirked, as the closed in, leaping at her. She spun herself with tremendous speed, slicing the beasts in half with her claws. She looked at the sleeve of her dress in pity. "I just had this tailored too," she said with a look of annoyance.

One of her seconds came next to her, looking at her with worry. "Sheylene, are you alright?" He questioned with concern. She looked at him with raised eyebrows. She waved him off with her bloody hand. He grabbed her wrist, inspecting for wounds. "Are you hurt?" He inquired once more. She ripped her wrist from his hand.

"Enough of your worries. I am quite alright. This is Lycan blood you imbecile. Now what happened here?" She demanded. She looked at him with a look of pure hatred, not for him, but for the Lycans. His eyes grew big.

"We were out here on the routine scout, looking to see if any other bodies could be found. That's when they attacked. They came from every direction. We couldn't run, we could only fight. Most of the coven was wiped out within minutes. Others were dragged off. Most were left with bites in their necks to suffer a horrid death. I don't know if there's anymore coming," he explained. "What should we do?" Sheylene looked over the corpses. Some of Lycans, some of vampires.

"We stand and fight. I won't have these rabid dogs destroy what I have built. They want a fight, then they can come and get it," She said with certainty. "They think that they can wipe out my coven. Ha! We can simply turn more humans to replenish our numbers. They seem to underestimate what they are fighting." Her teeth gritted, blood splattered on her porcelain skin, she had her claws extended. She stood tall and proper, looking around and killing those of her members who writhed in pain. She figured it would end the suffering. A quick death is better than a slow one.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:41 pm

Aaron woke to the sound of his Alpha calling for he warriors to meet him in he mess hall. Everyone groaned and moved to get dressed, most only putting on pants before walking to the mess hall to find the alpha pacing somewhat angrily. "We have pests on our soil. Aaron, you take a hunting party out to scour the land. If you find anything, kill it." The man seethed angrily and Aaron nodded before looking to the warriors and jerking his head to get them to follow him. As soon as they left their fortress, they shifted and took off, following the scent of vampires. Only a few minutes later, they spotted an entire search party and nobody except for Aaron thought before attacking.

The entirety of the situation was one of ignorance and hate and Aaron wasn't too sure he enjoyed that. As he traveled through the groups, he killed he vampires quickly, not wanting to give them any more pain than was necessary to end their lives. Unlike himself, the other members of his pack were causing as mch pain as possible to the vampires they attacked. Biting them anywhere they could to cause as much pain as possible. Aaron found himself killing more suffering vampires than attacking those that were alive. And then an array of bullets hit him in the chest and torso and he went down. And then he heard his comrades being ripped apart and he glanced to see the leader of the coven they had attacked and he let his head drop back to the ground as he focused on pushing the bullets from his body, the blood steaming as the bullets left the flesh of his chest and torso. And then he felt someone grab his hair and he was dragged and dropped in front of Sheylene.

"I found one alive." Lynida seethed with a sick smile before taking a step toward Sheylene and whispering in her ear. "He could give us information on his pack. You and I both know that Werewolves don't do well under torture." She pulled away enough to look the woman in the eyes and wait for an answer. If it was a no, she would kill Aaron right hen and there.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:41 pm

Sheylene's face contorted a smirk as she looked down at the beast. She knelt down, grabbing him by his neck, "What a waste of perfectly good oxygen," she hissed, throwing him to the ground hard. She stood straight, looked at Lynida. "Bring him back. Bind him by his wrists and hang him from the ceiling of the cellar. If he doesn't talk, he will die a painful death, suffocating from lack of oxygen to the brain," Shey said. She spun around, her raven hair twirling with her. She morphed herself into a raven, flying up into the sky. Lynida's smile twisted evilly.

"You heard the leader, let's go mutt," she spit, grabbing him by the back of the neck and dragging him.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:41 pm

Aaron looked up at Sheylene and as she lifted him by the throat, he spit in her face, his glare evident. He hated this woman because of the way she had treated his peers. Most of his warriors were dead because of her little search party. Couldn't vampires keep their noses out of anything? As he was dragged off by the back of the neck by Lynida, he focused on his wounds, willing them to heal, and by the time they were back at the coven house, he was all healed up. Aaron was wrestled into the cellar and hung by his hands from the ceiling, where he stayed comfortably, though he knew the comfort wouldn't last as he got less and less oxygen.

Hanging silently, he licked his teeth and glared at the vampires that tried to question him. "You're vamps are a little skittish." He called with a small smirk as one approached him and he made to get closer to them, causing them to hiss and jump back. "Very skittish." He added with a small smile.

"Skittish, maybe," Sheylene replied, making an entrance, "But at least they are free, where you, dog, aren't so fortunately." Shey made her way slowly around the dangling body. "Tell me, mutt. How does it feel to slowly be suffocating? It's excruciatingly painful, is it not? You could ease that easily by complying to my rules. Simple," she reasoned calmy, her claws gently dragged across his chin. "Why did you attack a search party of Vampires when all they were doing was looking for missing coven members? We posed no threat to you nor your kind, yet our generosity is thrown back in our face. Why?" She questioned with poison dripping in her voice. Sheylene wasn't one for patience, but when it was highly necessary, she knew how to keep herself composed.

Lynida was smirking in the corner, watching her leader carefully. She was never one for rules, and though Sheylene was much older than she, Lynida tried to tell Sheylene what to do, but it always failed. Shey felt her presence lingering longer than it should. Shey turned harshly. "Lynida, leave, "she stated, without room for option. Lynida groaned, exiting the room.

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:42 pm

Aaron looked to Sheylene as she entered and he lifted himself up to get some amount of air before she came over to interrogate some more. "I wouldn't say painful, maybe a little uncomfortable, but it isn't anything I can't handle." He said with a small smile as his hazel eyes followed the vampire. "And my name is Aaron, not mutt. I'd appreciate it if you'd use it since I'm going to die in this shit hole anyway. I don't want to go out being called a mutt." His eyes narrowed a bit as he completely avoided her question all together. He knew how to keep himself quiet, and how to keep his eyes from giving any unwanted information away. The torture was something he had grown accustomed to, though this was a bit more uncomfortable. It had been a part of his training, to see if he was strong enough to be a soldier for the pack. He gritted his teeth and lifted again, taking a deep breath and then slowly lowering himself down again.

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:42 pm

"Aaron, hmm, lovely name for a sad creature. Tell me Aaron, how'd you come about being a Lycan? I mean, you definitely don't have age on your side, so what is it? You know nothing of what your kind has done to us, yet you openly attack my kind," Sheylene began harshly. She didn't appreciate false loyalty. She was one to tell the truth, and whether or not they believed her or liked what she had to say, was up to them. She spun the chair so she was facing Aaron. "Let me tell you how I was turned. I bet you'll find the circumstances quite similar. I was merely twenty, walking down the paved roads in 1460's England. I was attacked, dragged to an alleyway by the original vampire himself. He left me to either accept the change or die. I had no help for five hundred years, having to learn how to live properly given the circumstances. And did you know, Aaron, that not once in my five hundred years have I ever attacked a Lycan pack first. I haven't nothing against your kind, so do explain, why are we hated so much?" Sheylene questioned, looking at him with curiosity.

Aaron sighed and listened quietly. He wasn't going to speak until she had finished what she waned to say. When the woman was looking at him expectantly, he lifted himself to take a breath before speaking. "I was a jumped at a club in 1984. Got into a tussel with some of the regulars and one bit me. When I woke up, I was with the pack. I didn't ask questions I didn't was to know. I simply follow orders, that's my job. It's not my place to ask the reason my alpha wants your kind dead." He wasn't speaking with any malice against the vampire race, only a sliver of hatred came when he spoke the words, "my alpha". "And if you had nothing against my kind, you wouldn't be holding me here, causing me to suffocate to death, now would you?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the vampire. He was expecting to be hit or screamed at, or anything really. He lifted himself again and took a small breath before relaxing against the restraints.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:43 pm

Sheylene turned for a moment to allow herself to change before wiping herself around, allowing her claws to cut the rope that bound Aaron. He was dropped to the floor. "You're right. I have nothing against your kind besides their murder of my people. Though you, Aaron, seem much more rational than the rest of the Lycans. I feel as if we can have a civilized conversation without the strategic means," she said, walking around the table, sitting across from where she once was. She had turned the other chair back around to face her direction for him.

She crossed her legs under the table, linking her fingers together as she looked at me. "It's strange. You follow orders, but have no malice for the change they put you through. When I was changed, I despised my race. After five hundred years, I still am not paticularly kind towards them," she inquired with a quizzical look.

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:56 pm

As soon as Aaron hit the floor, he was coughing and sucking in the air that had been deprived from his lungs. He separated his wrists without a problem and rubbed at them before looking to Sheylene and moving to the chair. He sat down and leaned against the back of the chair. "Of course I despise my race. They took me away from my family. I had two younger sisters once. And they took me away from my fiance. But I really can't do much about it. The connection one has with their alpha is nearly unbreakable unless the alpha is killed, but then an equally or more vicious leader would take place. I can't guarantee that if I took down my alpha, I would be a better leader than he is. Perhaps I would get caught up in the blood and death. I can't risk that. I can't lose what little humanity I have left." He said reasonably, resting his hands in his lap. "Besides. every person is cut out for a higher purpose than they think. Or at least,m that's what I've been told." He licked his lips and looked at the vampire in front of him. His eyes curious.

"Higher purpose...curious thought. I haven't ever pondered that among the years, but now that you say it, it's rather...peculiar. I mean, I can sympathize with the connection, I have one with Gregori, but do I follow it, no. There is a fine line between being sired, and letting the sire bond define you, Aaron," she responded wisely. Usually, Sheylene's voice was covered by her newly thickened British accent, but her Russian had decided to an appearance. "Жизнь не что-то другое может контролировать. Слабые позволяют манипулировать ими, но сильные могут преодолеть его," she whispered, "Life isn't something another can control. The weak allow them to manipulate them, but the strong can overcome it. You need to learn this if you think you can't overcome what has been laid before you." Sheylene tapped her claws gently on the wood.

Aaron rose his brows at the woman. "Very wise words." He said with a small smile before resting his head against the back of the chair and closing his eyes. "I can't help feeling I'm out of place among the other wolves. It's odd really. They look up to me in a way the alpha can't even fathom." His hazel eyes opened and he regarded the vampire with, not malice, but respect. "I do wish to apologize for what my kind has done to yours, but I also believe there's some sort of reason behind it. No matter how... useless it seems." He didn't care if he infuriated the vampire, and that much was obvious in his quizzical tone and tired face. "Are you going to kill me now?" He questioned curiously, his head tilting to the side ever so slightly.

"Kill you...what a malice thing to inquire, but for the simplicity of my life as well as yours, no. I have no need for it. As for the reasoning behind why your kind hates mine, I haven't the slightest clue. Probably something Gregori got up to. He has a taste for dogs apparently," she said, standing tall. "You are free to go, but not out the front door as the others would kill you at the spot, but through the back exit. She made her way to a spike bed, used for torture. "There is a passage way here," she alerted him. She opened the doors of the steel bed, pushing back the wall and allowing it to reveal an exit.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Aaron nodded quietly, somewhat glad that he was allowed to live, though he wasn't sure if she wouldn't send a party out after him later. He stood slowly and walked to the door, giving a nod before exiting and calling over his shoulder. "I'll be sure to report this kindness." His voice was somewhat scratchy, but it held only promise as he walked through the tunnel and into the night air. He allowed himself to heal before taking off into the trees toward his pack, staying in his human form in case he was approached by a human on the side of the road or something.

He arrived back to his home and reported his being allowed to live by the leader of the coven and the alpha said he would take it into account, though Aaron doubted it. The guy was fucking insane. Strolling his quarters, he was caught by a number of soldiers, all telling him how glad they were to get him back alive and not torn into pieces. He graciously accepted their compliments and when he got to his room, he collapsed into the bed and was asleep before his head hit the pillow. Tomorrow was going to be a long day, and he could almost sense the tension from the alpha and knew he was planning something huge, so he only slept a few hours before waking and situations himself, falling back to sleep.

Sheylene turned, exiting the interrogation room. Lynida was awaiting Shey outside. "Is he dead? Did you get the information we needed? I'll have the others come clean up the mess," she said with a sadistic smirk. Sheylene sighed.

"I didn't kill him. He knew nothing of the attack, therefore I released him. Not all of us are fatalistic as you are Lynida," Shey pointed out, heading up the stairs, Lynida hot on her trail. She could hear the annoyance in Lynida's heavy breath.

"Why can't you be tough enough to handle a problem when presented--," she was cut off before she could finish by Sheylene's fine hands gripping her neck tightly. Sheylene's fangs were on display. He teeth were clenched as she glared hatefully at Lynida.

"Have respect for you elder, Lynida. I won't tell you again, so listen closely. I will do as I see fit, not what you see fit. Understand? If there's another issue, you will feel my wrath," she growled, releasing her so that she fell harshly to the floor.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Post by Admin Thu Oct 31, 2013 12:57 pm

Aaron woke at the crack of dawn, as usual, only recieving about four hours of sleep. He stretched and walked out into he hallway where the pack was bustling and talking animatedly. Her found his friend Jaque rushing down the hall and he stopped the man.

"What's going on?" He questioned and the man gave him a slightly pained look. "Jaque, what is it?" He questioned harder, forcing the man to stop.

"The alpha's ordered an attack on the coven." With that, Aaron snarled and was gone before the other speak another word. Without warning, the door to the alpha's office flew open and Aaron stood, fuming from head to toe. The alpha was surprised and looked actually a bit scared.

"You're attacking the coven. Why?" He questioned from between clenched teeth, hand molded into fists of rage as he stood, waiting for an answer. When he received none, the young man continued. "They mean us absolutely no harm! They didn't pose a single threat toward our pack." The man was trembling in rage as the alpha ran at him and attacked him, shifting mid-air and smashing him into the wall. Blood splattered the wall and Aaron went flying down the hallway. He landed on a group of warriors, who all seemed stunned by the sight of Aaron standing and wiping blood from his mouth while the majority cascaded down his shoulder. "You can't attack a coven that has absolutely nothing against us." He said lowly a growl rippling through his teeth. He ran at the alpha and was unable to shift from the injury, but he didn't seem to care.

In minutes, Aaron was a bloody mess on the floor, the wounds inflicted by the alpha unable to heal like he normally would. The alpha spit on the warrior and left the other in a bloody heap, refusing to show him one ounce of pity.

It wasn't long before Aaron was stumbling out of the den and he was crawling in the back entrance, needing to warn Sheylene about the attack. He pulled open the doors of the torture chamber and he collapsed inside the room, breathing out the woman's name, desperately hoping she would hear him in his near death state.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Sheylene, who'd peacefully relaxed in her chambers for the night, was now walking about the corridor aimlessly, letting her mind wander. She was dressed in her dark blue satin gown, ruffles running down the center. She slowly strolled down the hall. It was quiet, the rest of the coven resting from the attack a fortnight ago. she allowed them to rest for longer than normal, seeing as she didn't feel the need to have things done for the day.

That was, until she heard a noise. Minimalistic voice, full of pain and agony, crying softly from a distance. She followed it's resonance back down to the basement, entering the torture room. On the floor, in a pool of blood and maimed limbs, she found Aaron. She knelt before him, looking at his weakened state. "Aaron, what on earth happened to you?" she inquired worriedly.

The Voice Of Age Empty Re: The Voice Of Age

Aaron groaned quietly and let out a small breath when he heard Sheylene's voice. He rolled onto his back and looked up at the woman. "That's... Not important." He joked out quietly. "The alpha... He's ordering... An attack... On your coven." His breath was ragged and shallow as he wondered why he wasn't healing like he was so used to now. Perhaps it was because his alpha had done the damage? No, he couldn't think about that right now. He had to tell Sheylene what else was happening. "You have to... Get your forces together... They're coming..." He closed his eyes and swallowed thickly, a cough escaping his lips and his stomach wrenching, more blood seeping from the torn flesh. If he was going to die today, he was okay with that. He was dying for a cause he believed in, right? Yes, that was enough to make him accept his fate.

Sheylene was taken back. He nearly stumbled into the wall...Attack on the coven! Prepare yourselfs! She mentally set out as she checked Aaron's heartbeat. "Aaron, why aren't you healing?" She questioned, checking his injuries which were fatal if not treated. The coven did not own a first aid kit as well...they are vampires. She didn't know what to do. She felt her face heat up in anger..."What can I do? Aaron, stay with me!" She demanded.

Aaron's eyes slowly opened and a small groan left him. "I don't... Know..." He said in a near whisper. He didn't know what she could do, and he didn't know how long he would last. His hand slowly reached to her and placed it on her hand. "I'm sorry." He whispered breathlessly, hazel eyes lifting to look her in the face. "I couldn't stop him..."

Sheylene rose her eyebrow in question. She began panicking. She'd never been in a situation such as this. She didn't have one clue as what to do. She then had an idea, what if she tried turning him into a vampire. The voice in her head was screaming that it was a horrible idea, especially because he was a werewolf, but what were the chances of him surviving with the injuries he's sustained?

Aaron's eyes started to close again, but he could see that glint of an idea in Sheylene's eyes. He hoped she would act soon, or he was going to bleed to death. His grip on her hand became weaker and weaker until he felt as though his last breath was leaving him, his body going limp. Darkness began overtaking him and his thoughts became less and less, but it was slow, and his pain was dimming. Soon all he felt was the numbness of nothing.

Sheylene let her full fangs extend out, sinking them into the neck of Aaron. She let the venom snake into his system, being as careful as possibly not to ingest some of his blood. He pulled back, using her handkerchief to wipe the blood for her teeth. She laid back against the wall, Aaron's body nearly limp in her lap. She looked down, a single tear leaking for her eye. "Please work...please"
